Greetings from the Bashaw and District Chamber of Commerce.
The Bashaw and District Chamber of Commerce is a volunteer organization made up of local business owners and community groups working together to achieve the goal of improving business and trade in our local area.
We would like to encourage the participation of all local businesses in our community and area to become active members of the Chamber. It is with great hope that through the efforts of a strong Chamber we can:
- promote and practice the notion of "businessess helping businesses".
- enhance networking to assist local businesses in achieving maximum viability.
- nurture positive business and community growth.
- work together to enrich the local economy.
- facilitate a proactive working partnership with community organizations and local government for the betterment of the community as a whole.
- provide a platform and a place for businesses to come together and share ideas, strategies and solutions.
In an effort to maintain and demonstrate our committment to the community, volunteers of the Chamber of Commerce have, in the past, planned and organized community events such as the Street Barbeque, Santa Parade, Bashaw Bucks and the Halloween Decorating Contest. We aim to do as many of these community events as possible in the coming year.
