Town of Bashaw ~ Notice

The Council for the Town of Bashaw would like to advise all residents of Bashaw that the Audited Year End Financial Statement for fiscal year 2009 is now completed and that the report is available for viewing at the Town Office during regular business hours.

Town of Bashaw ~ Notice

The Town of Bashaw will be engaging in water transmission line maintenance Wednesday, October 6, 2010 from 8:00 am to 4:00 p.m.

This will require that all Town hydrants be systemically opened and flushed to clear the water lines of sedimentary debris.  Some inconvenience may be encountered as only the mains will be cleared and sediment may accumulate in the service lines.  To correct this problem, allow the taps to run for a few minutes.  Residents may wish to refrain from cleaning activities such as laundry until the following day.  For cooking purposes, (morning coffee, tea, lunch, etc.) save your anticipated water requirements the day before.

We trust that the maintenance will proceed with minimal inconvenience to the residents; however, we ask for your co-operation in this matter.
