Planning and Development

OVERVIEW

Planning & Development Services are responsible for coordinating land use to ensure that growth and development occurs in an organized, rational manner while maintaining and enhancing the built and natural environments which contribute to a high quality of life. 

This is accomplished through long-range plans (Municipal Devlopment Plan, Area Structure Plans) and the Land Use Bylaw, Policies, Procedures and Regulations.

The Land Use Bylaw is the key tool used to regulate and control the use and development of all land and buildings in the town of Bashaw.

NEW RESIDENTIAL DEVELOPMENT 

Town of Bashaw has a limited number of residential lots available for purchase in the Schultz Subdivision.  The next phase of development, the "Vistas" Subdivsion, located on the north side of Bashaw which is in the beginning planning stages will be available for purchase in the near future.
