Professional Chuckwagon Run offs & Pony Chuck Races

Come out and join us for the Professional Chuckwagon Run Off's and Pony Chuck Races September 9 to September 12, 2010.  

Pony Chuckwagon races start the events off at 4:00 pm followed by the Professional Chuckwagon Run Off's at 6:30 pm at the Bashaw Agricultural Grounds.   The finals will run on Sunday September 12, 2010 @ 2:00.

The Bashaw Fire Department is hosting a Pancake Breakfast for all cowboys, fans and supporters on Saturday, September 11 starting at 9:00 am at the Bashaw Agricultural Grounds.

Trade Show Extraordinaire!

Saturday September 18th Technically Yours and the Bashaw Star bring you Bashaw's first Annual Trade Show Extraordinaire. 10 - 4 at the Community Center. Admission is a donation to the Food Bank. There will be a Pot Luck BBQ from 5-7pm. There will be clog dancers during the afternoon. there are still tables available for a cost, for more info call Sheri at 780-372-2007 or come to our store at Technically Yours.

Bashaw's First Annual Trade Show Extraordinaire

This is Bashaw's First Annual Trade Show, Saturday September 18, 2010 from 10-4 at the community center. There are all sorts of vendors from information to clothing. The admission to this event is a donation to the food bank or $2.00 at the door. There will be a variety of vendors to shop from. For more information contact Sheri at 780-372-2007

Town of Bashaw

The Town of Bashaw will be conducting a fall clean up of additional household garbage which includes electronics (will be picked up by public works staff only if unable to deliver to town shop for October 16 E-waste Round Up) old appliances, furniture, garden refuse, etc. from October 4 to 8, 2010.  Construction Material will not be picked up.

Charges:
White Goods                  $  5.00
Propane Tanks                $15.00
Goods Containing Freon   $25.00

All household garbage other than the above will be disposed of at no charge. 

Fees must be paid prior to time of pick up. 

If you have articles you would like picked up, please contact the Town Office prior to October 1, 2010.  Any calls received after October 1, 2010 will not be accepted.

Fall clean up for Pelican Point users is scheduled for October 4, 2010.

Town of Bashaw

The Town of Bashaw will be conducting its Household Hazardous and Electronic Waste Round Up on Saturday October 16, 2010.  The hours will be from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Public Works Shop located at 5216-49 St.  If you have any old cans of paint, unwanted TV's and computers or the like, bring them down to the Town Shop and dispose of them.  No commerical waste will be accepted.

There is no charge for this service.  For more information, please call the Town Office at 780.372-3911.
